Ultrahigh-Elongation Wire Strain Gages

The special resin film used for the base makes the KLM gage hard to concentrate stress at the joint of the gage element and gage leads, and enables it to measure strain as large as approximately 20%. The gage can also be used for strain measurement on materials of small elastic modulus such as hard rubber and plastics.
