- This is a welding (fusing) of U shaped terminal and insulated wire, which is used for commutator terminal and winding. W or Mo, with high heat conductivity is used as the electrode material. Two phases of welding profile are used; first phase for removing insulation and second phase for wire and terminal welding. U shaped terminal has an advantage to sandwich the wire mechanically.
